Coral Skeleton Scaffolds
‘Coral Skeleton Scaffolds’ is a citizen science project that aims to develop a new technique or prototype scaffold system to aid in the development and nursing of coral communities that are ‘at risk’. Co-designed by art-science designers, coral researchers and the publics, they would be implemented in areas of the world where existing coral reef colonies are declining due to the negative effects of coastal damage, pollution, disease and the rise of ocean temperature.
